Thursday I got a call from my real estate agent on Thursday. It had been a really long and stressful day. The news he gave me made the day all better.

Gay Marriage

Read this on a friends facebook page and I really enjoyed it.

10 Reasons Why Gay Marriage is Wrong (reposting Mitchell Sturges)

01) Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning.

02) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.

03) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.

04) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.

05) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Britany Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.

06) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.

07) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.

08) Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.

09) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.

10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans.

Houses

So today I am going to show my parents the house I think I will put an offer on. My real estate agent and I found this house by chance... It was not even one we planned on looking at but we had a little extra time so we drove around a couple neighborhoods seeing if we saw anything.

I may soon own a house. CRAZY. I am finally growing up.

While looking at the houses my real estate agent tells me "dude, Alisha you are just like a guy... the first thing you look at it the garage". FML. This is not even the first time I have been told I am like a guy in some way or another... oh well.

I do have the greatest family. My parents are so supportive and came up last minute to see the house. After all I am a daddy and mommy's little girl and seek approval for everything I do. Also my cute little sister is planning what to do with the basement already. haha.

Also on a non-related topic I hate ASTHMA... I have not had to bad of problems lately but today it is kicking my butt... has killed to breath for the last hour and a half. I even took medicine for it!

Blog

So I am joining in so I can follow along my friends blogs. I suspect I will not have to much to write about, probably just a bunch of random crap.

I asked a friend to come up with the blog name and here is a couple names we came up with:
1. ABM standing for Alisha Brynn Martinez and Awesome Blog _____ or something like that
2. Alisha Brynn's sins
3. Alisha Brynn's double chin

But since I am just going to write a bunch of s*** that doesn't matter she suggested aliShit and I laughed so hard I had to choose it, sounded a bit better than Alisha Brynn's double chin right??

Hope you enjoy the randomness I come up with in my blog!

XOXO
